  • Delage was a girl group with 4 members (named Judy, Charlotte, Rhonda and Karena) promoted by hit producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman. The initial promo pressings of their first single carried the group name Dazzle, but it was later changed to Delage. Their first single issued in December 1990 was the old Hues Corporation hit "Rock the Boat" backed with the Stock Aitken Waterman penned "I Wanna Be Your Everything". It reached a modest #63 in the UK charts. A followup was issued in October 1991 called "Running Back For More" backed with "I Wanna Shout About It" both written by Stock, Aitken and Waterman. It reached #153 on the UK chart. The following year the group changed their name to Eden and released two further singles, "Can This Be Love" and "Keep On Pushing Our Love", to little success. Delage recorded some more songs with Stock, Aitken and Waterman like "I Can't Wait" (a cover of the Nu Shooz hit) or "Ain't No Cure" (a cover of a Bananarama song) which were left in the vaults of PWL and were never released. A 12" version of "Ain't No Cure" was released in 1997 on the Australian only compilation '12 Inch Classics Volume 3 - The Hit Factory' which unearthed rare and never heard before mixes from stock, aitken, waterman. In August 2009 several tracks and remixes were made available on iTunes in the UK from the PWL archives.
