David Williams was a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. He was Member of Parliament (MP) for the south Wales constituency of Swansea East from 1922 to 1940. He unsuccessfully contested the constituency at the 1918 general election. When the Coalition Liberal MP Thomas Jeremiah Williams died the following year, he stood in the resulting by-election, cutting the Liberal majority.
