Professor David Pegg is a retiring theoretical physicist at Griffith University, Australia. In his career he has made numerous contributions to our understanding of quantum optics, conceptual physics, in particular the nature of time, and the realization of NMR. Recently he has been a part of the ARC centre of excellence for quantum computation. His h-index is currently 38. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and a Corresponding Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
