He has also been a featured performer at the Tuesday Riot in Chicago in early 2007. As well as some appearances at New York alternative comedy show Invite Them up. In 2006, David appeared in three episodes of the Much Music prank show Screwed Over. In February 2007, Dineen-Porter launched the The Obsidian Sled, a blog dedicated to the comedic arts of Toronto. Later that same year, he was cast as Humber Gossen in the mockumentary series Cock'd Gunns, and shot the pilot episode, and the first episode, however, his character was edited out for time. He is still visible throughout the first episode in many of the scenes. In 2008, he was the recipient of a Canada Arts Council grant for music composition, to complete the arrangement and compositoin of a rock opera In 2009, he contributed to the Xavier Renegade Angel episode Damnesia You. Also, as PDF Format (the Band), David was featured on He is credited as producer and director of the pilot episode of L'Brondelle's Universe with Canadian actor/musician Morgan Waters.
