David Biespiel (born February 18, 1964) is an American poet who was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, raised in Houston, Texas, and educated at Stanford University, University of Maryland, and Boston University. He is the founder of The Attic Writers' Workshop in Portland, Oregon, an independent literary studio that has provided creative writing workshops to over 300 writers annually since 1999.
