David Alleyne (born 17 April 1976, York) is an English cricketer. He is a wicket-keeper and a right-handed batsman. Alleyne signed for Middlesex in 1999 but, partly because his batting was perceived as weak, found himself unable to displace David Nash from the first team wicket-keeper slot. When Ben Scott then emerged as Nash's successor, Alleyne decided to switch clubs. Alleyne was released by Notts in August 2007 and he is now pursuing a club cricket career for Victorian Premier Cricket team, Northcote.
