Darnytsia Railway Station is the largest railroad station of the Ukrainian capital Kiev, located in the Left-bank Darnytsia area. Founded in the nineteenth century, it has grown into a gigantic hub, stretching for more than 5 km along the main east-west route. The hub comprises several sorting yards, locomotive and railcar depots, DVRZ railcar repairing company, industrial rail links, and a commuter passenger terminal.

There is a major passenger terminal under construction on the Darnytsia station. It is ment to ease the traffic tension in the Kiev Passenger Railway Station, currently the city's only terminal serving long-distance trains, especially in the eastward direction. Danytsia station is also planned to be a terminus for a new intracity rail service called "Urban Electric Train". The railway station is not yet interconnected with the city's metro system. Both the Darnytsia Metro station and the Darnytsia (TCh-1) ElectroDepot are actually situated away, despite sharing exactly the same name.
