Damian Dame was an R&B duo consisting of Debra Jean "Deah Dame" Hurd and Bruce Edward "Damian" Broadus. In 1991, Damian Dame became the first act signed to LaFace Records. The duo released their self-titled debut on May 14, 1991, and it spun off two radio hits, "Exclusivity" and "Right Down To It". Hurd was killed in an automobile accident on June 27, 1994, just before the group was set to record a second album.
