Burman in 1884 as a small pharmacy in Calcutta (now Kolkata), West Bengal, India, and is now led by his great-grandson V.C. Burman. The company headquarters are in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, near the Indian capital of New Delhi, where it is registered. Dabur's manufacturing operations are in India, Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
