Curt Close is a Belgian singer. In February 2002, his song Ton Image was in the French and Belgian Top 40. At the age of 10, he started to play the piano by ear instead of being taught to play it. He composed his first song at the age of 14 and began to perform at small school concerts. When he was 19, he met Pierre Rapsat, a composer and performer who became his mentor and friend, and with whom he would write several songs.

Philippe Delettrez oversaw the production and musical arrangements. The recording work took place in Paris and Los Angeles with the best French and American musicians: Jean Mora at the keyboard, Emmanuel Vergeade on guitar, Denis Benarrosch on percussion, Marc Berthoumieux on the accordion, Didier Dessers writing for strings, Abraham Laboriel Sr on bass, Abraham Laboriel Jr on drums, Brad Cole on piano and keyboard. Le vent se lève was released in March 2002. In 2004, Catherine Lara asked Curt Close if he would play the role of Merlin in her musical comedy Graal in January 2005, with Franco Dragone as producer, but the show did not go ahead.

Plus tard, Curt rencontrera Nicolas Varak, producteur à Paris, qui lui fera signer un contrat chez East West (Warner Music France) pour enregistrer son premier album "Le vent se lève". Philippe Delettrez en assura la réalisation et les arrangements. Les enregistrements ont eu lieu à Paris, ainsi qu'à Los Angeles, avec la crème des musiciens français et américains, Jean Mora aux claviers, Emmanuel Vergeade aux guitares, Denis Benarrosch aux percussions, Marc Berthoumieux à l’accordéon, Didier Dessers à l'écriture des cordes, Abraham Laboriel Senior (Michael Jackson, Elton John) à la basse, Abraham Laboriel Junior (Sting, Paul MC Cartney, Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer) à la batterie, Brad Cole (Phil Collins) aux piano et clavier. Le vent se lève sort en mars 2002. En 2004, Catherine Lara fait appel à Curt Close afin qu'il interprète le rôle de Merlin dans sa comédie musicale Graal, parue en janvier 2005. Le spectacle qui devait être mis en scène par Franco Dragone ne sera pas monté. En 2009 Curt Close forme le groupe Enfantsonic avec les musiciens-producteurs Londoniens Archie et Jonny Dyke connus pour leurs collaborations avec James Morrison, Amy Mcdonald, Beyonce... L'auteur Jean-Jacques Thibaud signe les paroles du groupe.
