Craig Doyle (born 17 December 1970 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland) is an Irish television and radio presenter. Craig Doyle grew up in the south Dublin suburb of Booterstown. Being educated in catholic schools, the priests wanted Doyle to take to a religious career, but he originally wanted to be a veterinarian. He studied Sociology and History at St Patrick's College, Maynooth, followed by the London College of Printing, where he earned a diploma in Broadcast Journalism.

After graduation, Doyle worked on BBC local radio in Northern Ireland, where he was picked up by UTV to present the children show Disney Club. He then presented Tomorrow's World and "Fasten Your Seatbelt". He then spent six years hosting BBC's "Holiday". He presented "The Craig Doyle Show," an Irish travel/celebrity program running from 2004 on RTÉ, which he made with his own production company, Boxer productions. He also had a big hit this year on the Irish channel with Ireland's Richest, another Boxer production which he presented. He had a hugely popular live music show on London's Capital Radio, every Saturday from 8am - 11am. He left Capital in January 2008. Doyle has been a key member of the BBC Sport team since 2004, he anchors the International Rugby and Triathlon, amongst other sports. He competes in triathlon himself. Craig Doyle has also gone on to present Innovation Nation for the BBC. This aired in 2004 on BBC One. He also fronted the ESAT Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin sponsored by BT in 2005. Doyle left the BBC at the start of 2008 to join ITV Sport, ahead of the increasingly expanding ITV Sport portfolio. Having presented a wide variety of sports for the BBC, Doyle could well end up hosting many different sports for ITV, including football and motorsport. Doyle was released early by the BBC and in February 2008 he replaced Jim Rosenthal as he hosted the Uefa Champions League Highlights on ITV1. He had originally been going to join the network in May.
