Constantin Andronilof graduated from the University of Paris in 1940 and St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute (of which he subsequently became professor) in 1944. He later worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as an English and Russian interpreter to President de Gaulle. Andronikof became best known as the most prolific French translator of Russian religious thought, especially of the theological works by Fr. Sergei Bulgakov. From 1991 to 1993, he served as a dean of St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris.
