The Coney Island Cyclone (better known as simply the Cyclone) is a historic Wooden roller coaster in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, New York City. The Cyclone was operated by Astroland until it closed on September 7, 2008. It is currently operated by the newly created Dreamland Amusement Park. The Cyclone was declared a New York City landmark on July 12, 1988, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 26, 1991.

Es fand aber eine Schützt den Cyclone-Kampagne statt, Astroland pachtete das Grundstück und eröffnete Cyclone am 3. Juli 1975 wieder. Am 26. Juni 1991, an Cyclones 64. Geburtstag, wurde sie zu einem National Historical Landmark (Nationales historisches Wahrzeichen) ernannt. Sie gilt als Vorbild für einige nachfolgend gebaute Holzachterbahn desselben Typs, etwa den Texas Cyclone in Houston oder Bandit in Deutschland.
