The Communist Party of Greece (Marxist-Leninist), is a Maoist communist political party in Greece. KKE(m-l) was founded in November 1976 by the majority of the Organisation of Marxists-Leninists of Greece (OMLE), itself a splinter group of the Communist Party of Greece since 1964. The minority became the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Greece (ML-KKE).

Another group with the same name (abbreviated KKE-ML) was founded in November 1974 by a group known as Organization of Greek Marxists-Leninists (OEML) that split from OMLE in 1969. It split in 1975 in two factions with the same name that disappeared until 1976. KKE(m-l) experienced a crisis in 1982 when the majority of its members left the party. This crisis was caused as a result of both international and national events (government of PASOK, etc.). KKE(m-l) in the Legislative Elections in June 1989 gathered 3,361 votes (0,05%). In the Legislative elections of November 1989 gathered 3,234 votes (0,05%), and in the 1990 elections 2,590 votes (0,04%). In 1993 the KKE(m-l) joined the Left Struggle political coalition along with the Revolutionary Communist Movement of Greece (EKKE), New Left Current, Workers Revolutionary Party (EEK). The coalition received 8,160 votes in 1993 and 10,443 votes in the 1996 general elections. In the 2000 elections the party gathered 7,301 votes (0.11%), in the 2004 elections 10,754 votes (0.15%), and in the 2007 elections 17,541 votes (0.24%). KKE(m-l) publishes the biweekly newspaper, Proletariaki Simea (Proletarian Flag).

Un altre grup amb el mateix nom (abreujat KKE-ML) es va fundar el novembre de 1974 per un grup conegut com Organització de Marxistes-Leninistes Grecs (OEML) que la separació de OMLE el 1969. El 1975 es va dividir en dues faccions amb el mateix nom que va desaparèixer fins 1976. El KKE (ml) va experimentar una crisi el 1982, quan la majoria dels seus membres deixà el partit. Aquesta crisi va ser causada com a conseqüència d'esdeveniments internacionals (la mort de Mao Zedong, la reconstrucció del capitalisme a la Xina, etc) i nacionals (Govern del PASOK, etc. ) A les eleccions legislatives gregues de juny de 1989 va obtenir 3.361 vots (0,05%). Il KKE(ml) fu fondato nel 1976 a seguito di una scissione dell'Organizzazione dei Marxisti-Leninisti di Grecia; i futuri militanti del Partito, infatti, rifiutavano la teoria dei tre mondi, mentre la fazione a loro avversa, che andrà a costituire il Partito Comunista Marxista-Leninista di Grecia, la sosteneva. Già all'inizio degli anni Ottanta, però, il KKE(ml) cominciò a soffrire perdite di militanti, specialmente nel 1982, quando la sua entità si ridusse notevolmente, a causa della morte di Mao Zedong e della mancanza di una posizione chiara del KKE(ml) su Deng Xiaoping, e la vittoria del PASOK in Grecia.
