Cletis Carr is a singer-songwriter, acoustic guitarist and record producer. American-born Carr was a founder of the Pacific Northwest 70's new wave music band Sneakers and has toured as support to John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, Huey Lewis, Joan Jett, and more. After moving to Sydney, Australia in the mid 1980's, Carr founded the country-rock band Big Whiskey and formed Hillbilly Moon with Paul Norton and the late Rose Tattoo guitarist Peter Wells.

He also toured for many years with Chris Turner's Big Rock Band, which featured members of AC/DC, The Saints and Jimmy Barnes. Carr's song, "What About You" was featured over the closing credits of the 2003 hit Australian film, Danny Deckchair. Carr is now the co-owner and chef at the Mt. Vic Cafe in the historic Blue Mountains west of Sydney, where he features live acoustic music on weekends and occasionally performs himself.
