Clayton Hickman is a British writer, magazine editor and designer. Born in Bristol in 1977, he first worked in publishing as Editorial Assistant on "Film Review" magazine from 1999-2000. He was the longest-serving editor of Panini Comics' Doctor Who Magazine, overseeing the publication between January 2002 and August 2007, having joined as Assistant Editor in 2000. He currently remains as the editor of Panini's annual publication The Doctor Who Storybook.

As a designer, he has contributed covers to both Big Finish Productions' audio range and is the regular cover artist for BBC Worldwide/2 entertain Ltd's DVD releases of "classic" Doctor Who stories. He also participates in a fan commentary on the BBC Doctor Who DVD Survival and moderated the commentary for The Time Meddler and two further stories to be released in 2009, The Keys of Marinus and Frontier in Space. He was the designer of Russell T Davies' 2008 book "The Writer's Tale".
