The Churches of Christ in Christian Union (CCCU) was formed in 1909 when five ministers from the Christian Union denomination and some sixty laypeople left the organization of which they had been a part of and organized as the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. Since 1945 the CCCU has reached to 15 U.S. states and into several nations internationally. Revival campaigns, missionary conventions, and camp meetings are a vital part of the local, district, and general church.
