Chris Wheeler is an announcer and color commentator for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball. Nicknamed "Wheels", Wheeler has been broadcasting for the Phillies on TV and radio since 1977. Wheeler graduated from Penn State University in 1967 with a BA degree in journalism and broadcasting. In 1971, he entered the Phillies organization as Assistant Director of Publicity and Public Relations. He was added to the broadcast team in 1977.
