Był autorem zdjęć do filmów czołowych brytyjskich reżyserów - Kena Loacha, Stephena Frearsa oraz Billa Forsytha (Biznesmen i gwiazdy 1983). W połowie lat 80. był operatorem dwóch obrazów Rolanda Joffé.
