Verfügbar war auf Wunsch auch ein V8 mit 5.703 cm Hubraum und 250 bhp (184 kW) bei 4.400 min (Turbo-Thrust), 250 bhp (184 kW) bei 5.000 min (Ram-Jet Fuel Injection), 280 bhp (206 kW) bei 4.800 min oder 315 bhp (232 kW) bei 5.600 min . Der Del Ray wurde in sechs Karosserievarianten ausgeliefert: Zwei 6-sitzige Limousinen mit 2 oder 4 Türen, ein „Utility Sedan“ (= Business-Coupé mit nur einer Sitzbank und 3 Sitzplätzen), ein „Sedan Delivery“ (= 2-türige Limousine nur mit Fahrersitz) und zwei 6-sitzige Kombis mit 3 oder 5 Türen. Die beiden Kombis trugen die Bezeichnung Yeoman. Nach nur einem Produktionsjahr verschwand der Del Ray wieder und wurde durch den Biscayne Serien 1100 / 1200 ersetzt.
