In juli 2006 werd Hines genomineerd voor een Emmy-award voor Beste Vrouwelijke Bijrol in een Komedieserie voor haar werk in Curb Your Enthusiasm. Ook in 2006 deed ze mee aan het programma Pro-Am Poker Equalizer, waarin bekende Amerikanen pokeren tegen elkaar. Hines is sinds 30 december 2002 getrouwd met Paul Young, voorzitter van L.A. ’s Groundlings Theater. Samen hebben ze een dochter, Catherine Rose, die werd geboren op 8 maart 2004.
