- Field Marshal Charles Moore, 1st Marquess of Drogheda KP, PC (Ire) (29 June 1730 – 22 December 1822) was a British peer and military officer, styled Viscount Moore until 1758. He succeeded his father as Earl of Drogheda in 1758, when his father and younger brother were drowned in the Irish Sea. In 1791, he was created Marquess of Drogheda, and in 1801, he was made Baron Moore of Moore Place, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. He married Lady Anne Seymour-Conway, the daughter of Francis Seymour, 1st Marquess of Hertford, on 15 February 1766, and they had eight children: Lady Isabella Moore (22 November 1766 – 22 June 1787) Charles Moore, 2nd Marquess of Drogheda (1770–1837) Lady Elizabeth Emily Moore (14 March 1771 – 18 March 1841), married George Nugent, 7th Earl of Westmeath Lady Mary Moore (27 August 1772 – 22 February 1842), married Alexander Stewart of Ards Lord Henry Seymour Moore (1774 – August 1825), joint Muster-Master-General for Ireland, married Hon. Mary Letitia Parnell, daughter of Henry Parnell, 1st Baron Congleton, on 28 September 1824 and had issue: Francis Moore, 3rd Marquess of Drogheda (1825–1892) Lady Gertrude Moore Lady Alice Moore (September 1776 – 1789) Lady Anne Moore (died February 1788) Lady Frances Moore (died 5 October 1833), married John Ormsby Vandeleur in 1800
