Charles James Barnett (born 31 October 1796; died 31 December 1882 at Brighton) was an English amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket from 1820 to 1837. Mainly associated with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), he made 29 known appearances in first-class matches. He represented the Gentlemen in the Gentlemen v Players series. He was Whig Member of Parliament (MP) for Maidstone from 1831 to 1835.
