The Catalans Dragons (sometimes referred to as Les Catalans or the Dragons) are a professional rugby league club based in Perpignan, France. They play in the European Super League and, as UTC, the French Elite One Championship competitions and even though the club was only recently formed they have to date achieved a championship title in 2005 and two consecutive Lord Derby Cups in 2004 and 2005 as well as contesting the English Challenge Cup Final in 2007.

Les Dragons catalans sont le fruit d'une fusion en 2000 entre deux clubs français de premier plan : le XIII Catalan (fondé en 1934) et de l'AS Saint Estève (fondé en 1965). En 2000, le club se nomme l’Union Treiziste Catalane avant de prendre le nom des Dragons catalans en 2005 lors de son intégration en Super League lors de la saison 2006, ce dernier garde cependant une équipe en championnat de France sous le nom de l’Union Treiziste Catalane. Unique représentant français dans cette ligue avec un système de franchises, les Dragons ont réussi à vite devenir un prétendant aux premières places. Ses faits marquants sont notamment une finale perdue de Challenge Cup en 2007 et une participation aux play-offs lors de la saison 2008 après une troisième place en saison régulière.
