Castilleja School is a private college preparatory school for girls located in Palo Alto, California. "Casti", as it is nicknamed, has 415 students in grades 6 through 12. The School was founded in 1907 by Mary Ishbel Lockey at the request of the Dr. David Starr Jordan, then President of Stanford University who saw the need for a school that would prepare young women for college. Castilleja celebrated a century of educating girls in 2007.
