Cass Business School (short for the Sir John Cass Business School, City of London) is the business school of City University London. Located in the City of London, England, it was formerly known as City University Business School (CUBS) but changed its name in August 2002 following a donation from the Sir John Cass Foundation, an educational charity. The MSc in administrative sciences began in 1967, and became the MBA in 1979. The university's roots go back to 1894.

Cass awards BSc (Hons), MSc, MBA and Phd degrees and is accredited by AMBA and EQUIS and is the largest European provider of specialist MSc degrees in financial services. The Alumni Association at Cass has more than 25,000 members in 85 countries. The School is divided into three faculties: the Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance, the Faculty of Finance and the Faculty of Management. Rankings In 2009, the Financial Times ranked the full-time MBA 9th in the UK and 41st in the world, and the Executive MBA is ranked 13th in the World. - The MSc in Management is ranked 2nd in the UK by the Financial Times in 2008 and the Guardian Good University Guide 2009 ranks Cass as 1st in London and 3rd in the UK for undergraduate courses in business, management and finance. Cass has the largest Actuarial Science and Insurance faculty in Europe, led by Professor Richard Verrall. The Deputy Dean, Professor Steven Haberman, is ranked 9th in the world for his insurance and risk research.. In 2003, the Worshipful Company of Actuaries awarded its Gold Medal to the Cass Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance for outstanding contributions to Actuarial teaching and research over a 30-year period.
