Caspian IX is a fictional character in the world of The Chronicles of Narnia. He was the father of Caspian X (also known as Prince Caspian). His brother, Miraz, killed him in order to seize the throne, though how he did it remains a mystery. Miraz later tried to do the same to Caspian X when his own son was born. Caspian IX and his ancestors were Telmarine, successors of buccaneers who had once been teleported into Narnia from our world, as were Pevensie children and some other humans.
