Carlos Augusto Godoy (born 4 February 1961) has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since 2008. Godoy was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He joined the LDS Church at age 16. After serving a year in the Brazilian military, he became a LDS Church missionary in the Brazil São Paulo South Mission. Mônica Brandão, who was from his ward (Porto Alegre 4th), also served in this mission.

As a general authority, he has served as a counselor in the church's South America West Area and since 2009 he has been a counselor in the Brazil Area.
