Carla Jade Lynch is a British comedienne and model who plays the "Scummy Mummy" in Channel 4's comedy show Balls of Steel. Carla got her first break in television as a presenter on Channel 4's Whatever in 2006. She has also recently featured as a poster girl for Northumbria University's return to learning service. Lynch works at Northumbria University where she is noted for introducing a new way of inter-departmental networking known as Fika.
