Captain & Tennille are American pop music recording artists who achieved chart success from 1975 to 1980. The duo consists of "Captain" Daryl Dragon (born August 27, 1942), and Cathryn Antoinette "Toni" Tennille (born May 8, 1940), who are also married. They are best known for their singles "Love Will Keep Us Together" and "Do That to Me One More Time". Their television variety series appeared on the ABC network in the 1976–77 season.

Captain & Tennille bestaat uit het echtpaar Daryl Dragon en Toni Tennille Dragon werkte als pianist bij de Beach Boys en Tennille trad op met een zelfgeschreven musical, toen ze elkaar ontmoetten in 1971. Ze gingen samenwonen en tekenden een platencontract. Hun eerste single Love will keep us together, een cover van Neil Sedaka, stond wekenlang op de nummer 1 positie in de Verenigde Staten. Voor dit nummer ontvingen ze ook een Grammy Award in 1975. Later dat jaar trouwde het stel. De volgende jaren bracht het duo verschillende platen uit. In Nederland werd alleen Do That To Me One More Time een hit: deze plaat bereikte de nummer 1-positie in de Nationale Hitparade . in de Top 40 stond het nummer 3 weken op nummer 2 achter Crying van Don McLean. Tennille heeft later nog als achtergrondzangeres gezongen op de plaat Don't let the sun go down on me van Elton John. Ook speelde ze mee op het album The Wall van Pink Floyd.
