- Canada's Walk of Fame, located in Toronto, Ontario, is a walk of fame that acknowledges the achievements and accomplishments of successful Canadians. It consists of a series of stars imbedded in 13 designated blocks worth of sidewalks in Toronto, located in front of Roy Thomson Hall, The Princess of Wales Theatre, and The Royal Alexandra Theatre on King Street as well as Simcoe Street. The first group of members was inducted in 1998, and it has since expanded to include a young filmmakers competition and there are plans for a permanent museum. There are 124 Canadians on the walk of fame, including athletes; coaches; actors, directors, writers and producers of movies, television and stage; singers, songwriters and musicians; playwrights; authors; comedians; cartoonists and models.
- Kanadský chodník slávy je chodník, který je ozdoben hvězdami na počest známých Kanaďanů, obdobně jako americký Hollywoodský chodník slávy. Byl založen v roce 1998 a nachází se v Torontu v Ontariu. Celkový počet hvězd je 107, který zahrnuje atlety, trenéry, herce, režiséry, scenáristy, producenty, zpěváky, písničkáře, spisovatele, animátory, modelky a mnohé další… Své nominace na udělení hvězdy může zasílat každý kanadský občan a následně pětičlenná porota vybere ty, kteří prokázali profesionální přínos, jsou aktivní více než pět let ve svém oboru, přispěli k rozvoji komunity atd. Další podmínkou je, že oceněná osoba musí přijít na odhalovací ceremoniál. Jedna hvězda stojí cca. 25 000 $ a ročně je vybráno asi 10–15 lidí, kteří dostanou svoji hvězdu na tomto chodníku.

In 1994 kwam Peter Soumalias met het idee van een variant op de Hollywood Walk of Fame voor bekende inwoners uit Toronto. Zijn idee werd afgewezen, maar hij bleef actief lobbyen voor een Canadese variant. Een aantal jaren later, in 1998 werden de eerste sterren gelegd. Bij de onthulling van de eerste twaalf sterren waren vier van de sterren zelf bij de onthulling aanwezig. Tegenwoordig wordt de ceremonie ook uitgezonden door de Canadese zender CTV.
