The network was founded by Nigel Brown, David Cleevely, Fred Hallsworth,Hermann Hauser, Anthony Ross and Alec Broers in 1998. Its current president is Alison Richard and the chief executive is Matt Schofield, appointed in March 2009. Schofield replaced Peter Hewkin who was CEO from 2001-2009.
