- CKEA-FM is radio station licensed to Edmonton, Alberta broadcasting an adult contemporary format. The station's license was approved in July 2009, and officially launched in September 2010 as 95.7 The Sound, an adult album alternative station. On March 28, 2011, after three days of stunting with Christmas music, the station relaunched as Lite 95-7, now playing adult contemporary music with the first song Raise Your Glass by P!nk at 6:00am, and restored that format back to Edmonton after a 51-day hiatus, when CFMG-FM moved from adult contemporary to contemporary hit radio. Since May 2011, the station now reports on Nielsen BDS, with Mediabase following suit the following month. CKEA-FM follows the trends of other Western Canada markets with only one adult contemporary radio station, such as Vancouver, Calgary & Winnipeg.
