CHIN-FM was launched the following year, and the AM station's FM rebroadcaster was added in 1997. The FM transmitter originally operated on FM 101.3, but was moved to its current frequency in 2002, and the 101.3 frequency was adopted by a new competing multicultural broadcaster, CJSA. CHIN's daytime lineup consists primarily of Italian and Chinese programming, with some Afghan, Bengali, Croatian, Caribbean, Dutch, Ethiopian, German, Greek, Irish, Jewish, Macedonian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Somali, Spanish and Ukrainian programming airing evenings and weekends. CHIN's Chinese program was produced under the banner of Toronto First Radio, but it has since been bought by Sing Tao Daily and Fairchild Group, and will be renamed A1 Chinese Radio.
