În anul 1900, după demolarea primului sediu al Casei de Depuneri (ridicat în locul mânăstirii), s-a ridicat actuala clădire după planurile arhitectului francez Paul Gottereau. În prezent găzduieşte sediul CEC Bank-ului, urmaşa vechiului C.E.C. (Casa de Economii şi Consemnaţiuni).
