Le clip, réalisé à partir de dessins de la chanteuse, est signé Benoît Di Sabatino. Au cours d’une interview, Mylène Farmer avouera avoir modifié les paroles du refrain après coup. Au départ, « C’est une belle journée, je vais me tuer » est finalement devenu « C’est une belle journée, je vais me coucher », pour ne pas être pris pour un appel au suicide auprès de personnes fragiles.

Dopo l'incredibile successo del singolo "Les mots" in duetto con Seal, la rossa pubblica il singolo più movimentato e apparentemente ottimista del suo intero Best of. Apparentemente poiché la Farmer unisce un testo che parla del suicidio ad una traccia dal ritmo incalzante e ballereccio. Il singolo sarà una vera hit, vendendo ben 250.000 copie e rimanendo diverse settimane nella top ten francese. Il video mostra dei disegni fatti dalla stessa Farmer che s'inspira al personaggio del libro Il piccolo principe ed il regista Benoit Di Sabatino diventerà in seguito il fidanzato attuale della rossa. La versione live della canzone possiamo trovarla al momento solo nell' Avant Que L'ombre à Bercy del 2006.
