Other names and spellings include Barera, Bawera, Burada, Bureda, Burera, An-barra, Gidjingaliya, Gu-jingarliya, Gu-jarlabiya, Gun-Guragone (also used for Guragone), Jikai, Tchikai. The Djangu people have a Burarra clan, which is sometimes confused with this language.
