Buddahead is a New York City based rock band. The band was started and is led by vocalist Iranian born Raman Kia who spent his early years in the war-torn Iran of the 1980s, before moving to England with his mother. After coming to America Kia was signed by Jimmy Iovine to Interscope Records. However before the release of their debut CD the band switched labels to Sanctuary/BMG Records.

The other members of Buddahead include Simon Gibson on lead guitars, Toby Evers on bass guitar, and Rich Scannella on drums. Scannella replaced original drummer Al B in early 2004. The group toured heavily after the 2004 release of their debut CD Crossing The Invisible Line. In addition to tours of the USA, Japan, and Canada, the band also toured with Everlast on his White Trash Beautiful tour of the US. In 2008 the band released their second CD Ashes on their own independent Fear of Cheese Records. To date Buddahead's music has been heard on television on ESPN's Cold Pizza, A&E's Dog The Bounty Hunter, and the CW's One Tree Hill.
