Charles William "Bud" Tingwell AM (3 January 1923 – 15 May 2009) was an Australian film, television, theatre and radio actor. Tingwell was one of the veterans of Australian film. He acted in his first motion picture in 1946 and appeared in over 100 films and numerous television programs in both the United Kingdom and Australia.

Hij was onder meer te zien in Emergency Ward 10, Agatha Christie's Murder Most Foul en Dunkirk. Hij speelde gastrollen in series als The Flying Doctors, Z Cars en De wrekers. In 1952 speelde hij in de oorlogsfilm The Desert Rats naast Richard Burton. Zijn carrière in Australië kreeg een heropleving door zijn zeer gewaardeerde rol in de komedie The Castle. Daarna speelde hij nog in films als Innocence (2000), Ned Kelly (2003) en Irresistible (2007) met o.a. Susan Sarandon. Tingwell trouwde op 19 juli 1951 met Audrey Wilson, maar zij overleed op 7 juni 1996; samen kregen ze één zoon, Christopher, en één dochter, Virginia. Tingwell overleed in mei 2009 aan prostaatkanker.
