Bruce Mahler (born September 12, 1950) is an American actor, producer, and writer. He is known for his role as Sgt. Fackler on the comedy films Police Academy, and as Rabbi Kirschbaum on the sitcom Seinfeld. In 1977, Mahler appeared on two episodes of the tv-series, Fernwood 2Nite. In 1980, he appeared on the "comedy-sketch show", Fridays. He then portrayed Sgt. Fackler in the 1984 film Police Academy.

Through 1995-1998, Mahler starred as a rabbi who Elaine befriends on the Seinfeld episodes "The Postponement", "The Serenity Now", and the "The Finale (Seinfeld episode)". He also had a role in the 2000 movie The Perfect Storm and in Scary Movie. As of 2001, Mahler has officially retired from acting to write and produce for his company in Florida. As of today he owns a production company in New York.
