- Bruce Boa (10 July 1930 – 17 April 2004) was a Canadian actor, who found success playing the token North American in British films and television. His most prominent film role is probably the Star Wars sequel Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, in which he played the Rebel Alliance General Rieekan. Other film credits include: The Omen, Superman, Carry On Emmannuelle, Silver Dream Racer, Octopussy, Return to Oz, Full Metal Jacket, and Screamers. On television, his most notable role is probably as the American guest, Mr. Hamilton, in the "Waldorf Salad" episode of the BBC hotel sitcom Fawlty Towers.
