Brian Irvine, MBE (born 1965) is a composer from Northern Ireland. He has written several film scores and his piece Interrupting Cutler, partly based on the work of Ivor Cutler, was a winner in the 2003 BBC Jazz Awards. Irvine was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2009 Birthday Honours. Irvine's students include Ed Bennett, Dave Kane, Steve Davis and Brian Robinson.
