Branislav Ivković was the presidential candidate in the Serbian presidential election, 2004 for the Socialist People's Party. Born on August 7 1952 in Bijeljina, Ivkovic studied at Civil Engineering faculty in Belgrade. He was once a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia but after many disputes with Slobodan Milošević's party functionaries, he formed his own party. In the 2002 elections he received 40,000 votes. Now he is a Professor of the Civil Engineering faculty in Belgrade.
