Bockstael Metro Station is one of the metro stations on line 6 of the Brussels Metro. It was opened in 1982 and named after the "Place Émile Bockstael/Émile Bockstaelplein". Prior to the opening of the extension to Heizel/Heysel in 1985, the station was the western terminus of line 1A (no wline 6). The station allows tranfer to and from suburban railway lines to Aalst and Dendermonde via Belgian Rail.

Het ondergrondse station werd geopend op 6 oktober 1982 en wordt bediend door Brusselse metrolijn 6lijn 6. Tot 1985 was dit station het eindpunt van de noordwestelijke tak van de oost-westlijn (toen Brusselse metrolijn 1Alijn 1A, nu deel van lijn 6), die in het genoemde jaar werd verlengd naar Heizel (metrostation)Heizel. De projectnaam van metrostation Bockstael was Laken/Laeken. Bockstael is ook een belangrijk knooppunt in het Brusselse tram- en busnetwerk. Er stoppen twee tramlijnen, drie Maatschappij voor het Intercommunaal Vervoer te BrusselMIVB-buslijnen en vijftien Vlaamse Vervoermaatschappij De LijnDe Lijn-buslijnen. De bussen van De Lijn en bus 53 van de MIVB stoppen zowel aan het Bockstaelplein zelf als aan het station.
