Each edition of a blog carnival is in the form of a blog article that contains permalinks to other blog articles on the particular topic.

  • Ein Blog-Karneval ist eine Blog-Veranstaltung, bei der ein Blog-Betreiber als Veranstalter ein bestimmtes Thema festlegt, dieses als Blog-Beitrag veröffentlicht und die lesenden Blogger dazu auffordert, innerhalb eines vorgegebenen Zeitraums (üblich ist ein Zeitraum von 1-4 Wochen) einen Artikel zu diesem Thema im jeweils eigenen Blog zu veröffentlichen und den Veranstalter entsprechend über die Veröffentlichung zu benachrichtigen. Spätestens nach dem Ablauf des vorgegebenen Zeitraums listet der Veranstalter des Blog-Karnevals in einem neuen Blogbeitrag alle eingereichten Artikel und kommentiert diese entsprechend, fasst diese zusammen und/oder vergibt z. B. Prämien für die besten oder etwa originellsten Artikel. Der Fantasie sind dabei keine Grenzen gesetzt.
