The Bima-Sumba languages are a group of ten Sumba-Flores languages. The main language is Bima, which has half a million speakers on the eastern half of Sumbawa Island, and is only connected to the Sumba languages with moderate support. The major Sumba language si Kambera, with a quarter million speakers on the eastern half of Sumba Island. The Sabu language of Savu Island is suspected of having a non-Austronesian substratum, as to a lessor extent are some of the Sumba-Flores languages of Flores.
