William Cleveland "Bill" Mims (born June 20, 1957, in Harrisonburg, Virginia) is a former Attorney General of Virginia and a Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia. A Republican, he served in the Virginia House of Delegates 1992–98 and the Senate of Virginia 1998–2006. He was Chief Deputy Attorney General under Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell, who resigned on February 20, 2009, to spend full time on his campaign for governor.

On February 26, 2009, Mims was selected by the Virginia General Assembly to complete McDonnell's term as Attorney General. Mims did not run for election to a full term. His term expired in January 2010 when Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was sworn in to office. On November 4, 2009, then-Governor-Elect Bob McDonnell named Mims as one of the Co-Chairs of his transition committee. Mims was elected to the Supreme Court by the General Assembly on March 10, 2010, to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Barbara Milano Keenan upon her appointment to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He took his oath of office April 1, 2010 and his formal investiture took place on April 9, 2010.
