After disbanding, Gillespie and Creswick became painter and decorators and John returned to being a model booker.

Im selben Jahr hat die Gruppe zusammen mit den anderen Pete Waterman Limited-Künstlern wie Kylie Minogue, Lisa Stansfield oder Jason Donovan am Band-Aid-Projekt (Band Aid II) teilgenommen. Die weiteren Singles wie Can't Shake The Feeling (November 1989, Platz 8 in UK, Platz 41 in D), Handful Of Promises (März 1990, Platz 21 in UK) und Hey There Lonely Girl (August 1990, Platz 62 in UK) sind auch auf dem Album A Pocketful Of Dreams (1990) zu finden. Außerdem erschien noch ein Duett mit Sonia, You've Got A Friend (Juni 1990, Platz 14 in UK). 1994 versuchten Phil Creswick und Mark Gillespie ein Comeback als Big Fun II – ohne Jason Herbert. Die einzige Single aus dieser Zeit „Stomp“ konnte sich jedoch nicht in den Single-Charts platzieren und die Gruppe hat sich aufgelöst. Das einzige Bandmitglied, das bis heute der Musik treu blieb, ist Phil Creswick, der u.a. mit Vince Clarke aus Erasure die Gruppe Family Fantastic formierte und 2000 das Album „Nice!“ auf den Markt brachte.
