Beverley June Hughes (born 30 March 1950) is a British politician, and member of Parliament for Stretford and Urmston. She is a member of the governing Labour Party and a member of the Privy Council of the United Kingdom since 2004. From 17 June 2005 until June 2009 she was Minister of State (Children, Young People and Families) at the Department for Education and Skills.
