Also their self titled EP, had started to gather some buzz, which lead the band to meet with Grammy award winning producer Stephen Short of Ping Pong Music. In January 2009 the band flew down to Tornillo,Texas to record a brand new EP with Short, at Sonic Ranch Studios. The band is also gaining Canadian radio airplay with their single "She Could Be". The band has shared the stage with such acts as Kiros,The Reason,Ill Scarlett,The Watchmen,The Salads,The Johnstones and Mobile. In March 2009 the band was invited to play Canadian Music Week in Toronto. In May 2009 the band went on its second cross Canada tour to help promote their brand new EP, which they recorded with Short. June 2009, saw the band play NXNE, an extremely popular Canadian music festival for both independent and signed artists. On July 18 and 19 Benefit of a Doubt shot its very first music video for "We Are The Broken". The video is scheduled to be released in early August. The band is also going to be touring in August, September and October to help promote the release of the new single and video.
